About Ravens Grace Photography
Hey, I'm Josie.
I'm the human behind Ravens Grace Photography, a Colorado wedding photographer with a camera in one hand and a pretty serious obsession with documenting the good stuff.
You know, the hand squeeze when nobody's looking. The wind completely ruining your carefully planned hair. The ugly cry. The uncontrollable laughing. Your grandma getting down on the dance floor like she's 25 again. The tiny details you spent approximately 47 business days choosing.
Those are my favorite things to photograph.
I've been taking pictures for about 20 years, ever since my grandpa handed me a camera and taught me to slow down long enough to actually notice people.
Turns out, that stuck.
Over the years, photography became less about taking a “nice picture” and much more about telling the whole damn story. And that's exactly how I approach weddings.
I'm not here to turn your wedding day into an eight-hour photoshoot. Please, for the love of everything, go enjoy your cocktail hour.
My job is to give you enough direction that you never have to wonder what the hell you're supposed to do with your hands, while still leaving plenty of room for the moments that happen naturally.
No stiff poses. No forced smiles. No pretending to laugh because someone told you to.
Just the two of you being yourselves, surrounded by the people you love, while I document the beautiful chaos.
Because I don't want your photos to just show you what your wedding looked like.
I want them to bring you right back to how it felt.
And if you're planning a wedding that feels a little more like you and a little less like a Pinterest checklist?
Yeah. I think we're going to get along just fine.
-Josie

Meet Jon
Jon is the behind-the-scenes support, content creator, second photographer, gear carrier, hype man, and calm presence that helps keep wedding days running smoothly.
While I'm focused on documenting the big emotions and quiet moments, Jon is usually capturing the behind the scenes content, helping with lighting and gear, assisting during portraits, and making sure the experience feels relaxed and fun from the start to finish.
Together, we believe your wedding day shouldn't feel like a photoshoot all day long. It should feel like you; fully present, fully connected, and able to soak in every moment while we preserve it all as honestly as possible.
